History
In 2004, Heartland Retail Construction was founded on the principles of accountability, integrity, innovation and professionalism. From the outset, it was determined that Heartland Retail would go about things a little differently. By embracing technology, investing in our employees, and adopting a refusal to fail, we have developed valuable relationships with our clients, many of whom often trust us to build their prototype locations.
Structure
• Ownership:
Heartland Retail Construction is a privately owned company. While we’re small enough to respond to the requirements of each project, we’re experienced enough to meet the demands of some of the most respected brands in the industry.
• General Field Superintendents:
We employ three General Field Superintendents, with two of them being company principles. This allows us to provide an unparalleled level of support to our Superintendents on each and every project. By contrast, it’s not uncommon for many retail general contractors to employ only one General Field Superintendent to support their entire host of projects.
• Project Managers:
Our staff of Project Managers oversees the process from bid to turnover for each project, ensuring that the best available resources are applied to meet the timing and profitability objectives of our clients.
• Superintendents:
We take great care in selecting our field superintendents. We operate on the principles of accountability, integrity, innovation, and professionalism. Heartland Retail’s superintendents are expected to anticipate and respond to the unique needs of each project. If you can’t be accountable, you can’t work for us. It’s that simple.
